My Services

Thank you for your interest in my services. Below are examples of my most recent work & offerings. Please contact me to learn more about pricing & availability.

  • Content Strategy

    My career began in content strategy for small businesses, news websites, and think tanks. I enjoy providing structure and organization to content, finding ways to highlight key information, and using images and infographics to tell a compelling story.

    Do you need to develop content for your programs & offerings?

  • Website Management

    My skills in content management led to designing, creating, and managing websites using tools like Expression Engine, Wordpress, and Sitecore. I help businesses and entrepreneurs grow their tech capacity by building concise and professional websites using Squarespace, and implementing solutions to help businesses evolve and grow.

    Do you need help implementing tech tools to improve your business or work?

  • UX Design

    As a user experience researcher and designer I innovate tech tools by auditing functionalities, facilitating interviews with target audiences to discover their needs, doing competitive analysis, designing mock ups, and testing new solutions. I've worked with startups and tech corporations to embrace how research can address business concerns.

    Do you need to improve the experience of your products, tools, or organization?

  • Implement Calendly to give clients access to availability and scheduling options, and create an intake form for future potential clients.

Bethany Richards Dority is a “doctor by day, artist by daydream.” Her vibrant & unique reverse-glass paintings depict Northern New Mexico’s stunning landscapes & florals.

To showcase her art, we worked together in the following ways:

  • Built a website using Squarespace to display high-resolution images of her art, and create a shopping experience;

  • Create event pages to highlight upcoming gallery showings, art exhibits, and pop-up shows;

  • Create a narrative around her background and previous art ventures to strengthen her connection with her growing fan base.

My experience as a community volunteer at Black Health New Mexico (2021-2023) inspired me to transition from life in corporate tech to pursue more heart-centered work in my community.

I was involved in several initiatives including, the Food to Table program, the community garden, reproductive justice training, and collective healing activities.

In 2022, I recreated their website using Squarespace to showcase the organization’s work including video interview, policy briefs, information about their programs, and a donation page.

Solutions to improve work & productivity

In 2023, I began working part-time at Black Health New Mexico to combine community organizing, non-profit management, maternal health and community research in my role as operations manager.

To address challenges with process and cohesion in state-wide coalition spaces, I explored a tool called Mighty Networks to do the following:

  • Create a centralized place to collect meeting notes, collaborate, share resources, and find key information about membership;

  • Provide a “North Star” to look to when members need reminders about the coalition’s progress, values, framework, and what’s to come;

  • A place to maintain momentum and accelerate the movement after Zoom calls end;

  • A place to communicate outside of email and text messages.

UX design & research

I’ve been a user experience designer since 2016, after completing immersive courses & workshops at General Assembly.

The foundation of my approach to design is research. I enjoy talking to target audiences, designing solutions for their specific challenges and needs, and being a voice and advocate for target users. I’ve engaged with target users through in-person and remote interviews, surveys, and other interactive sessions.

I’ve designed for many Saas (software as a service) products, including:

  • Milieu: a business-to-business social exchange and directory to help associations and organizations leverage community knowledge and resources;

  • Social Health Registry: a customer-to-customer social exchange for consenting adults to securely share personal information about their sexual health;

  • Starfish: a student success and outreach platform for higher ed institutions to track student progress and engage in outreach with their students;

  • PSA technology: professional services automation software for project management, financial projections and reporting, and resource scheduling.
